The banded bottom will not work for my intended purpose - to wear with a certain ballroom skirt that dips low in the front and has a high slit as well. Nevertheless, I like it so much that I might have to get it anyway, and keep looking for the right one for my skirt.</p> <p>The occasion is a big ballroom social for the 4th of July.
