I love the vest. I wonder if you can carefully mend the bit where the stitching looks undone to me ( on my phone)- pic 8? That's what I would do, carefully turn it back under and stitch with tiny stitches by hand. I'm quite good at that sort of thing, trained by a "make do and mend" sort of mother. And I love the mention of Brigadoon- an old fave movie, and I saw the show in London in the late 80s.<br /> As it is your fave colour and the price was not too bad then it's still a win to me. It’d be very haphazard and doesn’t look intentional. The paisley pattern is extremely busy, and honestly looks a bit dated. It’s too fussy for the more substantial vest.
