I have several kimonos &amp; flowy cardigans, but felt the need for a structured piece for funerals, more formal events, etc. where a blazer would be more appropriate. I do have one really nice hat, but I usually don’t wear a hat at our condo because of the ocean breeze. It can get quite windy. The sleeves are too long, the fabric is thick for Winter, the double-breasted style looks bad on my body shape, &amp; it’s difficult to button.</p> <p>I came to the realization that my somewhat relaxed wardrobe for retirement needed some structure, so I bought this blazer. I say “somewhat relaxed” because my version of casual is dressier than most. I always feel the need for a third piece. </p>
