They are fun to look at and to wear. Mine are still fairly new and so still stiff. I'm hoping the leather will loosen up to fit my foot like a glove. The second time I wore them they felt much better than the first, so I think that will continue on and on.<br /> I love the tips on how to make the soles not slippery. Alot of Frye soles are, I try to scuff them up on textured concrete and the such. You can take them to the cobbler and they can glue a thin rubber layer to the whole front part of the sole, matching the color of it, so it doesn't even show from the side. It makes for no slipping, especially on rainy wet sidewalks. And it will extend the life of the soles. Or do as my grandma did and put masking tape on the bottom to form a grid. I decided to take the plunge and ordered them in tan, hoping they'd be more feminine than black and work with warm and cool outfits. </p> <p>They came Wednesday and they're beautiful!! The color is even better than the description photo, kind of a warm luggage tan. </p> <p>The only drawbacks are that the sole is slippery (almost fell on tile at work!) and they're a little stiff. I'm sure they'll break in, but what about the sole? I tried the sandpaper tip, but I'm thinking about ordering some sole non-slips or something like that. </p> <p>Overall, I'm very happy though! They're the nicer shoes I've ever owned! Outfit photos to come! </p>
