Breaking a long season into parts makes a huge difference. I used to do this with winter/ spring when I lived in the east. We had such a long winter and a very cold spring but the light changed and I wanted to wear different colours as a result. "Spring" colours in winter weights!&nbsp;</p> <p>I love all these combinations but especially 7 and 10/11. The jacket in 7 is so flattering on you and such a fun cut -- plus the sandals have very nice lines as well. We still have hot weather in March and April in Australia and yet after 3 months of high summer weather, I am bored with my summer clothing. Usually, our early fall temperatures can still be quite warm. </p> <p>Over time I've assembled a fall wardrobe that's half warm weather items, in fall colors so I can start wearing them as soon as I get an itch for fall outfits.</p> <p>I'll still wear some summer clothes over the next few weeks too, but my warm weather fall clothes are starting to come into rotation because I adore fall colors.</p> <p><b>#1 and #2 - Green Shorts and Ivory Sweater</b><br />The ivory top and the brown bag are from NAS. I was delighted the weather was just cool enough to wear a short sleeve sweater instead of a graphic tee. :)</p> <p><b>#3 and #4 - Brown Shirt, Rust Tank, and Navy Linen Pants</b><br />This rust tank is one of my favorite warm weather items for fall because the rust color makes every button-down shirt I pair with it fell like fall to me.</p> <p><b>#5 and #6 - Striped Peplum Top and Taupe WHBM Shorts</b><br />Another outfit with warm weather items in fall colors. The top and shorts are both WHBM from a few seasons ago and are often workhorses during early fall. Or in this case, late summer. The shorts have a matching jacket which was too hot to wear this day, but I was able to wear in the outfit below.</p> <p><b>#7 to #9 - Taupe WHBM Jacket and Navy Amazon Jumpsuit</b><br />This taupe WHBM jacket matches the WHBM shorts from the previous outfit. I've worn the jacket and shorts together and posted those outfits last year. But I haven't posted the jacket paired with my new navy jumpsuit yet. The taupe-brown color really adds a fall vibe to my eye for this outfit.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>#10 and #11 - Striped WHBM Sweater and Red WHBM Pants</b><br />Another day where it was cool enough for a short sleeve sweater! I paired this WHBM sweater with red WHBM pret-a-pedi pants. A gold belt and brown sandals finish off the outfit.</p> <p><b>#12 to #14 - Tan Ann Taylor Loft Jacket, Burlywood Liverpool Pants, Lucky Brand Graphic Tee</b><br />These Liverpool Burlywood pants are one of my favorite fall items for warm weather because the material is lightweight enough for hot days, but the color says fall to me.</p> <p>Thanks for looking! </p>
