It is, for me, a time where loss and melancholy are stronger feelings than connection and joy.<br /> From Thanksgiving until NYE, everything seems to move at warp speed with little time for me to recharge my batteries. I find myself dreading socializing because it's so draining, yet I know social contact is necessary. I'm taking a break from YLF and other social media until after New Years Day. Maybe the hiatus will be a reset and allow me to carefully think about my guiding word for 2024 as well as plan for a holiday getaway to someplace where sun and warmth are in abundance. </p>
