That could refill the ralph lauren shaped hole in my wardrobe, since RL has branched out and stopped making such a large number of floaty knee length halter dresses. Butterfly, I know several great seamstresses, including the costume designer for the art school I work at. I've been afraid to get a dress made for some reason, but I'm seriously considering it. Luckily there's one very specific style that almost never let's me down, but I have a really hard time finding dresses that fit the bill. I'm looking for dresses that fit the following laundry list of specs:</p> <p>Hemline hits anywhere from just below the knee to midi length.</p> <p>High neck sleeveless bodice with deeply set in shoulders ( high neck halters usually fit the bill, plus the adjustability of the tie neck is a huge advantage because of my small bust)</p> <p>Defined waistline is a must.</p> <p>Chiffon overlay on the entire garment. In other words a chiffon dress, but they are virtually always lined for obvious reasons. </p> <p>So is that too much to ask for, or does anyone actually know where I can find such a thing? Suggestion for other extremely light weight fabrics are welcome. My reasons for choosing chiffon have to do with drape and visual "diffusion" (if that makes any sense), not temperature. For those who don't know, a chiffon overlay is like a hazy glamour shot filter for your whole body. Its the most forgiving fabric I can think of, even though it's sheer. I just can't get enough of the stuff. I think I might of gone a little off topic </p>
