TOTALLY worth it. Their stuff is SO gorgeous and you have to pay the premium if you want that sort of design. I went to their boutique when I was buying wedding clothes but the outfit I liked was out of my budget for that particular function.</p> <p>If you haven't been to Ritu Kumar, you should go there. The saree I bought was a Satya Paul one, so I guess I ended up paying for the name, but seriously, I couldn't find a whole lot that I liked! Either there was too much embroidery or the sarees were too simple, so I ended up buying two at Satya Paul, and I don't really mind paying the premium. I'm in Punjab right now and can't find anything similar (by which I mean nice prints with some embroidery overlaid).</p> <p>@Manidipa: Do you know if Soma or Silverline has any stores in Ludhiana or Chandigarh? Chandini Chowk also has various shops for sarees but you need to be good with your bargaining skills. Nalli in Connaught Place is the best place to buy silk sarees from. If you want to pick up home decor items or silver jewellery or brass itms then cottage emporium has s wide variety of items. And nothing like Janpath and Sarojini Nagar for some flea market experience. Also, 600 dollars is a little steep for a saree.
