I have been doing the same thing. I was at the mall the other day, trying on some clothing in misses' sizes (always my nemesis...but petite options are so few that I like to try to branch out). The fitting room gal was positively effusive&nbsp;over how good the stuff supposedly looked on me—but it looked barely passable, imo. She joked that I was just being critical.&nbsp;I explained, "I don't *need* anything for my wardrobe. I have enough to wear. So anything that I add now needs to be perfect." She even grabbed another SA to come over and tell me how awesome I looked. </p> <p>It was clear to me that the shirt I had on was too wide and too long. The shirt I had tried on previously made me look pregnant, there was so much material (it was a peplum tank). There was a lot of gapping at the shoulders in the peplum tank also (you could see my undergarments!). I said thanks, but no thanks, and left the store.</p> <p>I went online to the retailer's site (Madewell)&nbsp;when I got home to see pictures of how the clothes were supposed to *really* look. The difference was unbelievable. The shirt I had had on had come almost all the way to my crotch point; online, it was at the gal's high hip! It made me so grateful to have Angie and the forum to help me be confident in finding what's right FOR ME. I know what fitting issues are important for me; I know what will make me feel fab. Like you said, Shannon, there's no need to wear yourself out trying to make it work. Just say "Next!" and move on. In the past I would have either tried my darnedest to make them work or have sent them back feeling like I was the reason they didn't work. Not anymore. I'm too good for stuff like that </p>
