I've been one since high school when you could barely find them in stores. I cannot get the okalas to work on my wider right foot, but found an earlier version that I can't find a photo of anymore (with studs on the straps) that work perfectly though. I think they have a little more toe coverage that doesn't cut off right at the widest part of my foot. Can't wait to see you in them.&nbsp;</p> <p>I love my own pair in nude (size 6.5). And I do have very fussy feet, with a hallux rigidus big toe. Somehow they don't crush my toes, I think it's due in good part to the thick ankle strap which helps redistribute the weight and take off pressure from the toe box as I walk. There is no point in measuring the slant of the heel. Everyone raves about them. I wore them around the shoe department for awhile, and they weren't bad. So I bought them again! They really are pretty shoes. Anyway, fingers crossed!</p> <p>Some of you might be interested in this: the SA and I measured my size 10 (I know, gigantic, thank you) and the heel is 3 1/4 inches. We compared them to size 6, the smallest size they carry, and the heel on the size 6 was 3 inches. </p>
