The Butter By Nadia dresses follow a similar concept, although intended for dressy occasions - not travel. Still, if you're interested in the versatility of clothing items, this might be of interest to you!

Oh, so frustrating when that happens-(
I would also keep an eye on eBay, perhaps the Versalette will turn up there?

ok...i like the concept. frankly the garment does not fit my life and is not what i would consider flattering. and i can fulfill their underlying mission much more efficiently and more fashionably by buying locally sourced goods made with locally made cloth sewn by local seamstresses. this has far more impact on sustainability and local economic growth than the manufacture of this particular good.

deleted a longer rant. but stuff like this burns me.

Bummer. That's really too bad.

I've seen several knitting patterns for this type of convertible garment. For example:

http://www.ravelry.com/pattern.....illian-top
http://www.ravelry.com/pattern.....cowl-scarf

I missed the Versalette, but now that I've seen it, I'm bummed. I'm going to have to have a rant about hipsters. Irritating!

I hadn't heard of it but it looks like a neat idea. I wouldn't think it would be that hard to show the pictures to a creative seamstress or tailor and see if they could fabricate something similar. As an added benefit you could choose your fabric!

Not sure how many of you recall the Versalette, a multiway travel garment for women that had geographically limited availabilty due to its sustainability goals. I kept hoping I'd manage to get hold of one of these some day, somewhere, some way... It seemed like such a cool idea.

But {r}evolution apparel, the folks who were behind it, are shutting down and moving on I can only hope the design doesn't die with the brand.
