I agree, we hardly ever need as much as we think! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/im-back-from-my-trip-and-will-never-catch-up#post-1000002 Tue, 06 Aug 2013 19:34:14 +0000 catgirl 1000002@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I can't believe how much goes on here!&nbsp; I&nbsp; can't even hope to read&nbsp;all the threads, let alone reply - but I'm going to try to skim through.&nbsp; I learned a couple of things on the trip for sure.&nbsp; One is that I never need as much as I think, even though all I had was a carry on.&nbsp; I need to remember that 3 tops and 3 bottoms make 9 outfits, and rarely did I need anything more.</p> <p>However, I also learned that I need to bring a jacket no matter what (hello, cold rainy day in Boston!) and not to expect to shop for an event dress, but to bring something along.&nbsp; I completely spaced an outfit for my parents' surprise 50th anniversary party.&nbsp; I did randomly stumble across a great Papell dress for $18 at the Rack on the South Shore and after I used my Nordstrom Note it was free!&nbsp; But the stress of shopping under pressure was stupid.</p> <p>I had SUCH a blast meeting Mochi and Diana in Boston, and wish I'd had time to meet up with the New York fabbers too.</p> <p>Also, the Spiegel jacket finally arrived, and the 4 is a good fit, so I have a 6 and 8 up for grabs, although I did buy at the $60 price and not the $29 bargain!</p> <p>Off to catch up as best I can - thankfully I took a recovery day off before going back to work. </p>
