They were a weird pale green that I just couldn't get a handle on. I dyed them navy blue and they turned out navy blue. I followed the directions (for Rit) as to the dry weight of the garment, using my postal scale for accuracy. I just don't wear them. Although I used to wear them regularly, I only wore my bootcuts once last year. I haven't worn the straight legs or boyfriend pairs that I added this Spring. (A hole filling exercise that probably wasn't a hole at all!) Hopefully I will wear them in the Fall. But there is no way I will ever need 5 pairs unless I plan to drive an ice cream truck in retirement. I love the idea of cutting one pair. I'll have to do some research/watch some youtube videos on dying another pair. I'm totally fine with not being able to reliably pick the color.
