There is a Bible verse I like to reflect on when I think about my loved ones who have passed: "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you." (Philippians 1:3) It's simple but for me it sums up my goal of making memories with the ones I love.<br /> I remember there was that Mother's Day post last year where you spoke so sweetly of your mother. I hope that I can have a close of a bond with my kids as you did with your mum.</p> <p>I have to add that your mum raised a fine, generous, kind lady in you. I knew from my lurking days a year ago that YLF was a special site. I was pleasantly surprised as to the supportive and respectful comments among all the members even though there were varying opinions and styles. Usually style sites have the expert trying to sell a book or style tip newsletters for an additional fee. I was blown away by your daily posts and how frequently you addressed questions on the forum...all for free! It just goes to show that if you give genuinely, you receive generously. </p> <p>Even though I've never met you, I consider you a friend. Although I will admit that if we should ever bump into each other, I would probably be speechless and giddy and may likely scream like a lunatic celebrity fan. No need to wear ear plugs...it would be a silent scream...I would just be opening and closing my mouth and clutching the nearest person walking by. </p> <p>After I calmed down, I would ask if you were available the next day. Yes? Oh good and this is how it would go:</p> <p>We would start off with breakfast at my favorite bakery and eat in their outdoor patio. While you weren't looking I'd gingerly touch the ruffled flower of your Valentino bag and bask in the joy that I touched purse perfection...aaahhhh.</p> <p>Then I would take you to our downtown street of independent designer boutiques which I haven't the nerve to go into on my own. You would teach me all the details and fabrications that make an item go from blah to KILLER.</p> <p>During lunch I would sit transfixed while listening to your experiences in the fashion business. Then we would head over to a downtown tea shop that has tea classes where you get to sample different teas of a single variety side-by-side. </p> <p>After I got you full of caffeine, we would head to our huge outdoor outlet mall where I would get a proper body shape assessment, know which stores I should focus on and get a summer wardrobe that has me keeping cool, modest and stylish. Whew!
