It sounds like it goes with several bottoms in yor wardrobe. It sounds versatile. I vote keep if you like it. I also noticed that the link said it is deep navy rather than black so,if true, that may be even better for you.

Could you take a picture with you in it?

I agree with the jacket comments. You could wear it open or closed.

It is really an extremely dark navy. It reads black indoors but navy in daylight.

It looks like a jacket to me. I like the waist definition. I also find that Theory doesn't fit me. This could be a great piece.

It looks like a jacket to me, and I like that kind of jacket. In the description it says it's navy. Does it look black?

Yes, thank you-- It puts me in mind of a lightweight safari-type jacket, a style that has always appealed to me year after year.

My first thought was wear it like a jacket. Over a tank top or tshirt, that would be a perfect layer for warmth and that "finishing touch" or third piece or whatever. Slim trousers would be my choice of bottoms with it, too. i like it!

Theory often doesn't @ get me" despite being a brand with good workwear fabrics and styles.
-- and I'm supposed th watch out for sales goggles!
-- and I'm not buying much black in tops or jackets!

But... this blouse turned up locally at a greater discount. I really like the easy elegance of it, with waist definition but not cinch- tight, and some coverage , and that it's a woven , since I have so many knits.
So far in my try- one it works with slim work pants, pencil skirts, and jeans.
Apropos of Angie's V- neck post, the v of the collared neck helps show some skin for lightening up. Of course during a workday it's mostly covered by s lab coat, hence black tops are never SO black, but it is good for some " uniforms" of easy tops over bottoms. Pearls are fab at the neck for brightness and make it look dressy, or smart casual with jeans.
I can wear it over a tank or T in white or pink for springtime looks, or layer it over a warm thermal in cooler weather.
I can also wear it a bit like a jacket.
I like rolling the cuffs back a bit for structure and more lightening up.

Thoughts and comments welcome !
