I sent him to the Chanel store. I had already bought a long Chanel pearl and crystal necklace--I wore it a lot in the bold jewelry 80s, most recently to my 2010 class reunion. It cost $200 and I still wish I'd bought the green and the amethyst versions.&nbsp;</p> <p>The gold chain and pendant is more difficult. I used to wear it as a belt--see photo below from a 1990 trip to Hawaii. I had a waist then--I can get it around my waist now, but it isn't the same effect. I just don't feel right wearing it as a pendant.&nbsp;</p> <p>This photo of me clutching my Chanel bag and wearing both necklaces has to be post 2004. Maybe an early fun shot for YLF.&nbsp;</p> <p>I think I've tried it 2xs around the neck. I could try that again.&nbsp;</p> <p>Okay you creative dressers: Any ideas?
