My son picked us up and then drove us back to their place where he had prepared dinner for everyone. It was a perfect afternoon and evening. The local nurseries have lovely, lush ones ready for Mother's Day every year. But I live in New England and we are starved for flowers right about now.</p> <p>My mother has everything she needs, as does my mother-in-law.
