I wore full support hose while pregnant and can still remember being complimented on my "tights". They were kind of shiny if I recall. Lol.

Anyway, layering another legging, tight or fishnet over or can you wear over the knee boots? I had a varicose vein injected once and had to wear a bandage for awhile. I used knee high boots as it was in November. What about a maxi dress/skirt? Ladies are rocking them like nobodies business here. There are those knee high gladiator sandals as well...

if you wore the neutral support sock, maybe you could try a knee high fishnet to layer over

Tall boots are very in my area, though I do live in a climate that supports tall boots 10 months of the year :P I'm not 100% sure tall boots would cover knee-length stockings though. Would it show obviously if you wore opaque knee-high socks over them? Then you could sort of incorporate it into your outfit (knee-high socks with tall boots, etc.). Also I agree with Suz, wool tights or fleece-lined tights should be thick enough to cover them? Maxi skirts or a sufficiently long midi with tall boots would also work, maybe?

Hmmm. In winter a wool tight might work. Or leggings worn with tunic length tops. Pants are the obvious thing, but I assume you were thinking of something different than that.

Hello!

I'm supposed be wearing knee length support stockings to help my leg with varicose veins. It's not possible in the summer, but as soon as the temperatures cool off, I want to get the stocking on again.

I heard tall boots are making a comeback, and I recently saw a photo of Sarah Jessica Parker wearing cropped skinny jeans rolled up to expose funky socks and ankle boots.

I wonder if I can I pull off that SJP look??

I'm a pear-shape 36-32-40. I have support stockings come in black, dark brown and neutral, but they def show under regular tights (i'm OK with a bit of that).

Any other ideas for covering my calves?

Thanks!
