Pricey, and definitely unplanned, but it ticked all of my boxes. It's not trendy and fashion forward at all, but it makes me happy in that it skims over my torso and puts the focus lower on my body, which I prefer. &nbsp; Plus I love the angled " peplum" effect. &nbsp;Pulled out these ancient CM <b>wool and leather leggings</b> , which happily fit now (too expensive to have purged in recent years, and I always held out hope I'd be able to wear them again) ,and then tried to update the rather untrendy /classic look with new <b>Western influenced boots. &nbsp; </b>Jewellery is an<b>&nbsp;</b>&nbsp;<b>old CM necklace</b> (a longer lariat-style piece I have &nbsp;looked good but isn't practical for work where long pieces &nbsp;tend to bounce and swing around . &nbsp; &nbsp;Picked up the metallic in my nails with a criss-cross crystal &nbsp;ring (which picks up the Swarovski crystal clasp at the back <b>of the necklace). &nbsp;An old fav I forgot I had (oops) - the triangle wool scarf</b>&nbsp; ( kind of western-ish) worked nicely with my fav pink boucle coat - which needs a depilling STAT - and will also be perfect to keep on inside when/if my work area tonight is chilly. Happy and comfortable, although I seem to have <b>misplaced my favourite lipstick</b> which would have pulled this together in just the right way - oh well....</p> <p>I'm kind of excited to try this outfit with my <b>new white boots.</b>..which of course I now can't wait for &nbsp;- haha. &nbsp;</p> <p>Icy tones for a cold with just &nbsp;a bare dusting of snow on the ground. &nbsp; ! &nbsp;(-10C here today ) &nbsp;What are you all wearing to work today?</p> <p>wool/faux leather leggings = Club Monaco - probably 5-6 years old<br />cashmere sweater = Club Monaco - new<br />scarf - Aritzia - 2-3 years old<br />boucle coat - Maison Scotch = 3rd winter<br />boots - Design Lab = new<br />necklace = Club Monaco = 10 years old?<br />earrings = LeahAlexander (Canada) = last year's Christmas present to self ;)&nbsp;<br />manicure - charcoal grey, pale grey + &nbsp;metallic silver &nbsp; </p>
