Happily, after losing a good amount of weight, I was motivated to start dressing better but I got a lot of stares and comments. I made it a point to wear a skirt at least once a week, and now nobody bats an eye when I wear one.<br /> People get used to seeing you one way and then they feel that you should stay the way they are used to seeing you. Don't let that bother you. If you love that skirt (and it is very nice), wear it and enjoy it.
