There are lots of ways to wear red or a shade or tone of red to make it your own.</p> <p>I used to wear a lot of it - it was almost a signature colour for me from about 2002-2010 ish.. I had two red party dresses, red silk shirts, a few red tees of different types, some red heels etc... A strong, clear, red is too strong for me now. A better red in a jacket was rarely worn because while I loved the color and fabric, the style didn't work with my changing, aging body. Other items weren't quite right because I was looking for red first, and not paying attention to whether the style fit right or suited me.&nbsp;</p> <p>So now that red will be abundant, I'm cautious. If I fall in love with a red item, will I wear it in real life?&nbsp;</p> <p>I'll be looking at all of your red items and how they look on you. Like you, I feel I don't have enough at the moment...and of the items I do own, some are sub-standard.&nbsp;</p> <p>Some of these items are too orange-red or coral for my ideal -- though in some cases, it doesn't matter too much (e.g. the sneakers) since I wear the item away from my face (and since I actually love all reds, so will happily pair the shoes with cooler reds.)&nbsp; Others are more burgundy than true or blue red. The cranberry red coat is gorgeous and one of the oldest items in my closet -- but the shape of it does not feel current so I rarely wear it.&nbsp; I won't get rid of it, though. I expect it to come back into favour at some point. The colour is so flattering to me and I love the dramatic collar.
