I wear a size 8 about 90% of the time, sometimes go up to a 8.5, but these fit me fine in an 8. My feet are on the narrow side, but the buckles are adequate for good fit. That was easily remedied by adding in more holes on the bands for the buckles. &nbsp;</p> <p>I have tried two or three different sizes on a few different versions of these, and my usual 8 was best every time. They do go on sale occasionally - like at the end of the season.... </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/i-want-freebirds---or-something-similar#post-1672355 Fri, 03 Jun 2016 16:01:44 +0000 AviaMariah 1672355@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>In my outfits this summer I have been unhappy with the way my trusty SE nude sandals look. &nbsp;I think they work well for dresses but they somehow look a little too dainty for cropped pant outfits. &nbsp;I have sturdy legs and ankles so I usually go for a chunkier looking shoe. &nbsp; &nbsp;I have long admired the Freebirds so thought something like those would be fun. &nbsp;My only question is the sizing. &nbsp;The reviews say they run a little big and I'm on the small side of a 6 which is as small as they go. &nbsp;Also, my calves are short and "althetic" so I worry that the buckles will be too tight and/or uncomfortable. &nbsp;Do any of the Freebird owners have any thoughts on this? Or does anyone have other suggestions (I'd love to pay less than the Freebirds to be honest). </p>
