I know this is not THE coat shape of the season, but the oversized coat trend is just too tricky for me. I don't know why I am so attracted to this coat, but listening to you all I am thinking to follow my heart. The inside is lined with fleece, and I think the fold away hood is a clever touch--there when you are caught in bad weather, but missing all that bulk for when you don't need it, or want to wear a hat. I really liked it. It is very warm. There is a fold-away hood. The collar stands up high at the neck when closed. The thing I like most is the color. I don't think I look that great in blue as a rule, but I think this color looked surprisngly good on me for blue. I haven't bought a new winter coat for awhile, and I thought that this year I wanted to buy a sophisticated lady-like wool coat, but for some reason this parka is speaking to me, and perhaps for my casual lifestyle, baby included, it makes more sense anyway.</p> <p>Do you like it? Do you like the color? How do you like the fit? There is an internal pull-tie at the waist that can be adjusted. I yanked on it a bit randomly for definition for the photo. The sleeves would be easy to shorten, but I probably wouldn't bother because in the bitter cold overly long cuffs are kind of an advantage.</p> <p>I already have a good black down nylon coat and a brown wool toggle coat/duffel coat. This would be warmer than the wool coat. My down coat is awesome because it is so lightweight and warm, but sometimes I just get sick of wearing black for weeks on end in the bitter cold.</p> <p>ETA: the one thing I didn't like is that you can't put your hands in the pockets without undoing the snap. Also I bought the awesome t-shirt you can see in the mirror. Yay! </p>
