The jacket was lined but the pants were not. The alterations were free with my Nordstrom card, so no big deal. I think my husband had some jeans hemmed at a dry cleaners for about $10. Every little bit counts.</p> <p>KL -- that does sound expensive. My dry cleaner charges $11 for hemming unlined pants, and a little more for lined pants. I had 4 pants hemmed, sleeves shortened on my gap blazer and buttons moved on a coat from NAS (Thanks to Beth Ann for the suggestion!). It was my first experience using a tailor since I usually hem my pants myself. They did a great job, but it's expensive!! For hemming 2 pairs of pants and shortening the sleeves, it was $97.
