But the idea is you take pics to catalog what you have and then you start marking what you wear together and it eventually makes suggestions based on what you have and what you've worn? I think just the having pics clearly all laid out would make mixing and matching easier for me. I could line up all 15 tanks in a row above all 10 pairs of jeans, for instance, and then browse my 8 blazers for a finishing piece. That kind of thing. So that would be, the same property since 1853 where I live and work. I have learned from my now-deceased elders that, over the years, our fall and spring are both getting shorter. We have longer summers and longer winters now. Yet we all know it's fall and spring that are the most enjoyable seasons, style-wise. You have much more freedom to express without temperature extremes. I just hit a bit of a wall. Fashion helps keep me sane and entertained and the stalling out of the season just sort of took the fun and expectation of newness out of it.<br /> Celia, I did don a fall idea but it fell sort of flat. You can't see the texture in the sheer stripes but it's a mix of wool and kind of nubbly. I wanted to wear a cream, brown and black striped knit scarf with it but it's in the CA closet (under the blue scarf in the basket). Admittedly, I changed out the long sleeves for my short 'stormy' cardi (pic 3) for the rest of the day. I liked the all white background for the cardi, so that was an unexpected surprise.<br /> EDIT: and here were the shoe contenders. I guess they each work but I had a preference for the zipper bootie. Maybe it's that the seasons are supposed to be changing but aren't. I can't wear most of the fall ideas I had eagerly floating around in my head. I think changing seasons breathe a breath of fresh air into our daily dressing routines and this eternal summer just has me at the breaking point. Nothing feels fresh or new. And I don't even have the desire anymore to stock up the fall arsenal, now that I hopefully scored the gray cords. Guess that makes it a perfect time to be SYC. Now I just wish mother nature would play along and we could get below 80 so I can get my juices flowing again. Anyone else feel stymied? </p>
