That color should be splendid for me, as long as it's not darker than photographed. Alassë, I have a knit dress from several years ago that was labeled bottle green, but it's rather too dark. See find below. This one looks a bit lighter and is not exactly the same material.</p> <p>It's terrific for the Christmas season - another good call, La Pedestrienne. I don't have holiday parties to go to, but there's a lot of generally festive wear at work and other regular activities. Not to mention Christmas day itself - it was so warm last year my mother was the best-dressed with her red Christmas tree tee! And I actually like the Robin Hood feel. Especially with tall boots. Muahaha.</p> <p>But Aziraphale really nailed why I'm drawn to the black and red. It really is fabulous, and the embroidery shines instead of just adds on. It's fabulous. And it's not just black; it's black and red, which has a very different vibe. It's very pretty and and doesn't scream out "boho" in an obvious way -- it's more like a sort of cross between gothic romance and Glastonbury festival wear.&nbsp;</p> <p>At a quick glance, the green one looks like a Robin Hood costume. The butterflies are nice, as is the garnet one, but neither is as fabulous as the black and red. The garnet is lovely, and the butterfly print is awesome for other reasons, but the colors provide no variety.&nbsp; (Though I can really use more prints.)</p> <p>There's a free shipping promo today, and I happened to see the added colors. I would love to be a bit more on trend, and bell sleeves at this length are really something I can enjoy.</p> <p>What do you think? </p>
