It really tires me out to have a bunch of stuff that i don't wear and have to return. I think there is a saying somewhere that a habit is made or broken in 28 days and I find that to be true for myself. I was just in a bad habit of buying mostly clearance stuff that I really didn't need but didn't feel I could pass up. It's not a calm way to shop and actually adds up A LOT. I just feel like having now gone almost 6 weeks it has broken a bad habit that I had and I'm looking forward to purchases being somethign I either really need, or really genuinely love and want. I feel like it has afforded me a chance to be much pickier about what makes the final cut into my wardrobe. More than that, I've been really enjoying what I have. And now, rather than feeling like I must respond to every '30 % off final sale' offer in my email inbox, I am enjoying thinking through what I might actually acquire that will be useful.</p> <p>The truth is, though, that really I am finding I don't need much. I'm enjoying what I have and even as I look ahead into the Fall and Winter, I see very little save for a purse that I will need. </p> <p>It's a good feeling because it's a much calmer way to approach adding new pieces into my wardrobe. And, my wallet is very thankful! </p>
