There's something going around. My DD was sick a few weeks ago with something that hit her suddenly at 3:00 AM. She threw up so much that she got to where she couldn't hold anything down and got dehydrated. I had to take her to the ER for an IV; not at all fun. Anyhoo, I do hope you get to feeling better soon!
