I really like blouses. At the moment it's the silky button front. For a long time it was "peasant" or "poet" style. Silky tees are great also. Another fabric I like is super lightweight cotton, like a lawn or voile. This years drapey, fine-knit jumpers have also been super to me. J Crew had some pieces other fabbers loved, but they are really geared toward a slender rectangle body shape.</p> <p>I have seen some lovely pieces at GAP and Banana Republic as well in cotton/linen and even silk at BR.</p> <p>Several fabbers swear by Eileen Fisher as well.</p> <p></p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/i-organized-my-closet-this-weekend---and-im-not-done-yet#post-1291080 Mon, 30 Jun 2014 01:54:17 +0000 nancywalters 1291080@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Lately it's been difficult for me to find outfits that I enjoy wearing or that fit properly.&nbsp; I have so many clothes but nothing to wear!<br />So this weekend I started the process of organizing my closet.&nbsp; I took everything out of the closet, including shoes and bags and started trying everything on.&nbsp; I have a huge stack of pants, tops and shoes that don't fit or don't suit me anymore, a stack of clothes to be pressed and some clothes to go to the cleaners.&nbsp; <br />I seldom wear dresses but kept a few that fit well and look flattering.&nbsp; I have three lightweight wool suits from Banana Republic that fit very well in black, navy and light grey.<br />I have some blue jeans, white jeans, khakis and capris in white and tan.&nbsp; I have several t-shirts in a range of colors,&nbsp; twin sets and some long sleeve button down shirts.<br />The big gap in my wardrobe is tops and short sleeve blouses to wear with trousers and jeans.&nbsp; That's why it feels like I have nothing to wear.&nbsp; (I tend to feel too exposed in fitted t-shirts).</p> <p>So now I'm trying to find some tops to wear with all my wonderful bottoms specifically to work in a business casual environment.&nbsp; I would love it if you all could share your ideas with me.&nbsp; I prefer natural fibers.</p> <p>Thank you!</p> <p> </p>
