I guess the decision has been made for me. The shawl style is no longer available. I'm thinking that posting here might have given that sweater a bit too much advertising. LOL

I'm petite (5'0"), and in my experience, LE sweaters always seem a bit boxy, even when I have the correct size. But if a certain style has worked for you in the past, probably sizing down would work. I have given up on wearing sweaters like the second one, just because of the added bulk.

Also the shawl collar really adds interest to the sweater...I really like #2.

I'm petite too...and don't like all the bulk. Both sweaters look nice and cozy. The one second one seems a bit thicker, but I really like the shape and don't think it will be to bulky. Land's End usually has P/S sizes too...which fit like a glove. I can even envision a nice belt around the sweater wearing it with a skirt and boots...also good with jeans and boots for that casual vibe.

I'm planning on replacing my black sweater that's too big for me. I'm looking at one of these:

http://www.landsend.com/pp/Fee.....29_48.html?

I have a black one like the above link and like it, though it does like to shed sometimes. It's soft and cozy.

Or this one: http://www.landsend.com/pp/Eve.....61_48.html?

I'm very American classic and this fits my style well, but I'm concerned it might be too bulky for my 5'1" self. Help?
