Personal choices figure into this also. Someone with a similar shape/size as me may like to wear closer fitting clothing and emphasizing her curves while I prefer clothing that skim my body, not tight but not very oversized either.
And expect to find that your chosen style will change over time as you grow and change. Angie's has.

Welcome to the forum. I second what The Cat said above. She pointed you to the right direction. I also wanted to add that there are so many details to consider, for example not all pear
shaped figures are the same you need to take into consideration the
vertical type and also the profile details such as protruding vs flat derriere and/or swaybacked or long neck vs. short
neck, rounded and/or sloping shoulders. Understanding your contours and the best clothing choices to maximize the
parts of your body that you like a lot, and move the eye away from a
challenging area.

One resource that can help you is the book written by Carla Mathis:
The Triumph of Individual Style it is thought in Fashion schools and one of my courses, it's the best book I've read. Check out her site:
http://thestylecore.com/

she sells webinars and I think you'll find some of them helpful.

Welcome to the forum!

Based on the very few facts you have stated about your body/figure, I wonder if you are a "pear". If so, you may benefit from Angie's tips in this post:
https://youlookfab.com/2014/02.....type-2014/

Okay so for the last 3 years I've been changing styles like crazy, but I am not really sure what does actually fit me, so I want to ask some people with the same body type like me, or an expert, if there are any. I am 17, and at the moment I am layering, months ago I used to wear tightly fit T's so I can look more buffed, but now I am trying that oversized trend. The problem are my legs, especially my thighs (I can pm pics if needed) but if my top size is M, my jeans size is 40 (skinny EU in Bershka). So since I can't make my legs any smaller, how should I use them to look nice?
