Thank you for your helpful replies.

I just got home from visiting a friend and she was showing me outfits for weddings she's going to this summer. She had some sandals with 2 inch heels that she got at DSW, I think. They were Kelly and Katie I think.

Linda, those Sole Society are very similar to the Okalas. I'll look into them.

Unfrumped, I think you may be right (I hope so!).

Thistle, those are cute. I'll look into them, too.

Always, i'm going to go to DSW to see what they have.

Thanks again.

ETA: I think these are the shoes my friend has.

yeh, dress shoes with under 3 inch heels are much harder to find. I have had best luck with Shoe Buy, DSW, and Off Broadway. i am lucky that i can order on line from DSW and Off Broadway and if need to return can return at the stores that are about 1/2 hr drive for me. also have one pair of less than 3 inch heels from Amazon. that had free returns. About the only stores that I can ever find shoes of any type anymore are marshalls and macys. seems mall shoe stores have junk, other than athletic shoes. And with on line ordering not always have free returns.

I have these in red. Reasonably comfortable (nothing I would wear to the park, but fine for work), lower wedge heel, but I still feel like they are lovely and dressy.

No help on shoe brands in those styles here, but just noting that if you can do strappy and pointy, and narrow heel, I think a lower heel, even a kitten heel, will still look dressy, feminine and great with those styles of dresses, so you should hold out for something that is more walkable--I think they're out there somewhere.

These Sole Society pumps say 2 1/2 inches in the description, but I think they are closer to 2 inches. Very comfortable, they come in black but a bright color would be fun with that dress too. They are available at Nordstrom and also the Sole Society website.

I haven't been very active on YLF for awhile. I had nothing to post, neither WIWs, comments or advice. But now I really need some help.

I have a wedding coming up in early Fall. I found a dress. I've also ordered some shrugs in case it's cool. Now to shoes: I ordered the famed SE Okala. I had read so very many rave reviews. Well, they came last night. OMG, they are far too high for me. I love the looks of them, but they're over 3 inches. I think I can probably tolerate 2 1/2 inches, and would probably prefer 2 inches. Do you have any suggestions? I've looked at Nordstrom and Zappos and haven't found anything. The ones I like the appearance of all turn out to be 3 inches.
