She blew it out straight, and I haven’t yet washed the curl back in, so it’ll look a few inches shorter when all is said and done. If it were mine, I’d do a trim to cut off the damage &amp; possibly long layers. I love long hair though!</p> <p>I also had to cut off damage &amp; was sad to lose a lot of length, but by layering I was able to target the most damaged areas. </p> <p>I’m so pleased to see that straight-ironed hair is not the only look out there these days (I have “Shakira hair but frizzier” which seems to have last trended in the 80’s). Straightening is beyond my skill set. </p>
