I usually pair charcoal tights, and that works well, but I think it is slightly challenging (vs. a magenta, which I would easily pair with black tights) in that regard, at least from my pov. It can also be worn with loads of shades of blue and green. It can be worn with orange also. If you want to color block , you can do that.
