It's not my first time visiting, so I tried to explore the places I didn't get to before. (however I could not avoid the pull of Pike Place - I swear, that area has a gravitational field or something). So for example I went to the Seattle Center, but only to the EMP/Sci Fi museum and adjoining areas, not the Space Needle (which I had visited many years earlier). I also got to meet another long time friend.</p> <p>I really hope to meet you YLF ladies sometime. </p> <p>I was also impressed with Seattle people watching and street style (some areas more fun than others). It was even more interesting than Portland in some places, and obviously miles above my casual univ. town. Angie said this was because autumn boots started coming out, that warmer weather has a very unfortunate effect on how people dress (so true), and that the suburbs are very different. Surely, one moment I would see a gear jacket, and another moment I would spot a fab urban outfit, on both men and women of all ages. Once in Issaquah (I ventured out there once) I saw a lady in stirrup leggings, dress flats, fab skirt and top. Arty and polished at the same time.
