I didn’t buy them (no sale or promotion going on) but am keeping an eye out for a deal on them.</p> <p>I did get a pair of high waisted flares in a mid wash at Gap for all of $40 to replace my ancient Gap bootcuts that are low rise and slowly getting worn out. I’m worried they are too short, but I was trying them on with a slight heeled bootie — I think they may be good with flats or chunky sneakers. Maybe they’re on trend with the new lengths, I dunno. *shrug* </p> <p>The BR black wide leg trousers are definitely shorter in a regular length than what I have been wearing. They look good with the black top I’m wearing today, but a bit short with the boots I’m currently wearing. The test will come when I try to style them at home. I can’t tuck like Lisa did — the effect is downright comical — but I think I can work with them, I just need to try them at home with my tops to be sure. </p> <p>I love that they are lightweight and not at all stiff or bulky. I’ll report back after I try them at home! </p>
