I do agree that real leather is generally more comfy though, and you should do what makes your feet happy! They always turn my head too, but I think even $30 is too much to spend on shoes that hurt your feet. I still find myself trying them on though, thinking, "Maybe these will be different..." expecially after seeing a friend sporting a pair. I just bought and returned a pair from payless last month.
