You are the best:)</p> <p>I think these shoes are really versatile: Classic in shape, but also fashion forward with the pattern and the platform. I do have a pair of black suede pumps already, also from Clarks, and they are quite nice, too, but much more of a sitting shoe since I feel that the heel is too unstable for my liking. I bought them almost three years ago, so I reckon I can substitute them by now without feeling guilty about it. They will not be donated, but kept in my holding zone. After all, they are even more classic in shape and color, so I think they can be put to good use again later. I actually have three pairs of black pumps from Clarks, including this one, so I guess that means it is my favorite brand for such shoes! The las pair is a bit different, with a lower heel and a little bow. Very cute!</p> <p>My new pumps will hopefully serve as work horses with dresses and skirts for work and smart casual occasions, an I also see them combined with more casual looks (jeans, tee and a leather jacket, for instance) when the warmer season arrives again in Spring. I searched every brick and mortar store in my neighborhood, and I googled for them day after day on ebay, web shops and so on. Finally, Amazon.co.uk had a pair on offer from a seller in the UK. But then the oh so familiar restriction "this shop doesn't ship to Norway" turned up again when I tried to add the shoes to my Amazon basket. Not being a member of the union has certain disadvantages for a fashion lover! However, I then searched up the seller's own website, and at first it seemed hopeless, but finally the shoes became accessible to me after all. Now they are on their way across the North Sea in my direction already. Yay!
