But, as another woman in the middle of her sixth decade, I do understand where you are coming from with your "but should I wear it?" hesitation. </p> <p>I'm thinking we older women need to reframe that question to "why SHOULDN'T I wear this?" when we check ourselves in the mirror. If we can come up with something reasonable like I'll be too warm/cold, or there is a stain on my shirt, then we can go back to our closets. Otherwise we need head out the door with our heads held high and a smile on our face. I told her the story of my indecision.... and I thought happily of all of you who encouraged me to JUST WEAR IT! </p> <p>It was very comfortable. I think the pants are a bit baggy. It is a Vogue pattern I sewed myself.</p> <p>Marley-for me, it is about being age appropriate. Since many pointed out being "covered" it was fine for me then.</p> <p>Rhubarb girl's mention of&nbsp;"pattern matching" made me realize I don't have many spring scarves to wear with this.
