The other one was laying in the sun this afternoon. I don't know what the high was, but it's 97F (36C) now, so probably a degree or two higher. We stayed at the Crown Plaza, at 6th and Seneca. We got lots of exercise going up and down the hills!</p> <p>Jenn and AM, I know gloomy weather affects people differently. I grew up just north of San Francisco and love fog. I live in a very sunny spot now and love it whenever there is a cloud in the sky. Last weekend we went to a barn wedding in our area. It was blazing hot. I talked to one of the guests who grew up in our neighborhood and now lives in Seattle. She said it was very hard for her. She said they hadn't had much of a summer thus far. DH and I arrived on Monday at about 1 pm. We stayed in Belltown, right above Pike Street and wondered all over Pike, Westlake and Seattle Center. I always enjoy visiting Seattle although I didn't love living there in my early 20s. I grew up in on the sunshine side of the state and the long gray winters really got to me. But a lot of people love the weather.
