I think I've had every style in the book and I just never like it.</p> <p>Most recently I had shoulder-length hair with thick blunt bangs. I loved this style for a long time and then over the last few months, I grew the bangs out a bit and switched my part from the middle to the side (like in my profile picture). That was fine but I started to feel like it looked too generic or something, so last week I got the bangs cut again and went back to a center part.</p> <p>And for some reason I hate it! Suddenly instead of feeling fun it felt frumptastic. But I tried pulling the bangs back to see what I'd look like without them (it's been years) and I hated that, too. Help? I want something that looks hip and fresh - not too generic, but&nbsp;not too over the top. Maybe I just need to grow the sides more?
