These *had* a zipper. Nevertheless, I had to sit down and struggle five or six times in order to finally get my foot in them. After that, they fit fine and fit my calf fine. She slipped her foot into them first time, no problem, but then couldn't zip them up around her calf. And my feet are relatively "low volume." I wish shoe makers would add a zipper or some elastic to some of these boots. </p> <p>That said, I realize more and more reading this forum how lucky I am that shoes are a relatively easy fit for me.
