These are the ones:
http://www.truereligionbrandje...../1025.html

I had the choice between these, and the ones with the twisted seam, but I chose these. I think they look a little more polished.

Thank you so much for the input, Angie and Tanya. I will be sure to try your suggestions. I have not yet got my camera up and running, but when I do, I will be sure to put a picture up. For some reason, they look a lot more high rise on the model than they look on me. They actually sit pretty low, which is to my preference.

Fantastic Lissy. Thanks for sharing what I know will be a great purchase. True Religions are dear, but it’s better to have few fabulous items than a whole slew of mediocre ones. I have no doubt that they will make you feel extra special each time you pop them on. Look after them and they will be a basic you turn to again and again each season. Quite right, my Diesels are that for me. Can you send us a link of the style you bought?

Tanya has hit the nail on the head. Black tops look wonderful with white pants. I do this all the time. Black works extremely well in Summer if you mix it with white and spurts of bright colour through color vehicles such as handbags, shoes, necklaces, earrings and layering pieces ( but not all at once).

You can absolutely wear white jeans through to Autumn. Tanya has her head around that one perfectly. Add black boots, hounds tooth and Bobs your uncle.

Congratulations Lissy! I am so happy for you! I am still on the hunt for mine. True Religion does not work for me, for some reason they make my butt look saggy, but I know that a lot of people swear by them! You'll get so much wear out of them and please post some pictures!

To answer your questions:
1) I think you can absolutely wear them with a black top in the summer. I certainly did with my old ones. If it's too hot during the day than it would certainly make a great going out look in the evening. I'd add a punch in bright/metallic shoes (or some other accessory).
3) I personally believe you can wear them in the fall as long as the weather is dry. I especially like them with black patent shoes. I'd wear them with darker tops/sweaters in fall-appropriate colors. One of my favorite combos last fall was to wear them with a fitted white turtleneck, tweedy blazer and flats in a bold color.

Oops, disregard my second question. I just saw the post on laundering white denim. I'll keep the bleach away from them.

Angie, I took your advice and bought some white jeans. They are True Religion brand, which always seems to fit me perfectly. They are straight leg (well, kind of skinnier than straight leg, but not a super tight skinny), and I got them hemmed to wear with flats. Just in case anyone else is on the search for white jeans, TR jeans are a really great investment. They are for me what Diesels are for Angie. I have a flat butt and very thin legs, and they have the perfect amount of stretch that they don't create the muffin top a lot of other jeans do for me (7FAMK, Paige, Lucky...). They are very pricy- they tend to run anywhere from $150-$250, but I promise so worth it.

One thing I'd also like to note - I always had the impression they would not be as flattering, or perhaps less forgiving than dark denim, but I was so wrong. It's really about the fit. I am confident in saying that I feel as good in them as I feel in my favorite pair of dark jeans. So, if that was your reason for holding off, don't.

Anyway, I have a few questions as to how to wear them.
1.) Is it harsh to wear them with a black top in the summer? For some reason, I have this notion in my head that black just doesn't work that well in the summer, so if this is true, someone please bring me to my senses. I should also note that I live in California and its very warm here, so it might just be staying cool thing.
2.) How do you keep the bottoms from getting dirty? I have hemmed them to wear with flats, but they still get a little dirty on the back. I would like to wear them more than once before putting them in the wash, so do you recommend just cleaning the bottoms and hanging them to dry?
3.) Are they strictly spring and summer attire, or can they transfer into the fall and winter? If they can, please inform me as to how to wear them so its appropriate for those seasons.

Thanks ladies. I really appreciate it. I hope you all get your pair of white jeans and are as happy with them as I am with mine.
