Exercise, or just doing something more physical is a great way to feel more 'grounded' and reduce any worry/anxiety. It seeems almost too simple to work, but the general idea is to get "out of your head" and more in tune with your body. Feel anxious? Throw on your coat, runners and go for a brisk walk around the block. You *will* feel better when you get back.

edited to shorten up an overly long post

Make sure it's not physical such as nutrition related - or related to something like thyroid disease. Even anemia or very low B12 can cause these kind of "anxiety" and "depressed with no real reason" symptoms. A good blood test to check for full thyroid panel, iron panel, B12 and other key things is what it took to find a few issues I had. Eat a clean, well balanced diet, get plenty of fresh air and exercise, get some tests done so you can choose how to proceed. Think about your diet and any medical issues you've had in the past and share this info. with your doctor. Keeping a log of symptoms, what you eat and how you feel can also help.

Well it's reeaaaally difficult to suggest much without knowing you at all, and so I may be way off here, but I can think of a few things. The most obvious would maybe be depression? Or some kind of general anxiety attacks. If it's either and they are both relatively mild you could try different things at home like bj1111 suggested. Exercise, meditation, relaxation techniques. Also, perhaps it's a bit of SAD (seasonal affective disorder). I know when it's been too gloomy outside for too long and we are stuck indoors I can feel a bit yucky and moody. Sometimes it just takes getting out and making the family do something to make me feel better. Like just getting out to lunch or something.
