However, I wasn't completely happy with my tops. I had two I couldn't get out of my mind that I didn't purchase, and I had a couple I had purchased I was unsure about. So, I returned two of them. And the two tops I wanted I deemed were above what I was willing to pay for them, but they were not widely available. I stalked them online until the prices were in the range I considered reasonable for me. Contrast that to one of the tops I ended up returning. I saw when I returned it that it had been marked down more. But since I decided I didn't like it enough on me, the price ultimately didn't matter. As with us all, I imagine, most important is how I feel in the item. </p> <p>One of the tops I got from a place that never has free shipping. I bit the bullet and paid it, because the price ended up being significantly less even with the shipping (it was no longer available in the store where I had tried it on). The other top was really well marked on clearance, and if I had spent more, I could have gotten the shipping free. So I put a bunch of things in my cart before deciding I didn't really need anything else. There's not a local store for me to return to, and I didn't want to bother actively looking to spend when I was trying to save. I feel good about the switches. </p>
