Yes, unfortunately my body type seems to work well with the high end stuff (tall and broad shoulders...I suppose I could be slimmer though haha). Of course not everything suits but many of the clothes are made for my height...The biggest downside to it is the cost and the fact that most of the regular clothes are NOT made for my body...I mostly have to make do with sizing and fit. Most of my best pieces as a kid were from TK Maxx (the UK version of TJ Maxx) because they carried some designer pieces, that would fit my proportions. If I shopped elsewhere it was hard to find things that fit well. I still have trouble with arm lengths and torso lengths in particular. I tend to get round this by wearing pieces at my waist so that you can't see the length of tops. Cropped trousers so the length doesn't matter and also three quarter sleeves (or less). I look for jackets even with short arms. I tend to prefer clothing from ethical and sustainable brands and have been kidding myself for a while that looking and feeling good in my clothes doesn't matter but honestly it does in the end. I do want things to fit well and suit me which I was finding hard within my preferred shops. I had asked my husband for it for my birthday. Not entirely sure he would get it for me but he's bought himself the original globetrotter x Paul smith collab suitcase and a Paul smith bag and a Moncleur jacket (as well as the majority if his wardrobe being Paul smith) so I was hoping he'd get me the bag. Anyway, I can buy the Bao Bao bag myself and i'm going to ask him if he'd get me the Chloé jacket instead. I was already imagining other things i'd wear it with. I know all that sounds so extravagant but honestly for the last 5-6 years i've had next to nothing clothing wise. I literally have less than 20 main wardrobe items (all of which are in various states of repair) and i'm getting to the stage where i'd like to start dressing nicely again. My husband has given me a monthly budget to start building my wardrobe and i'd like some quality classic pieces that both look good but also that will last </p> <p>Janet, we have a BaoBao shop in my city. The silver bag is sold out online so i'm going to go ask about it in store in a couple of months. This would match the soles of my Stella McCartney shoes. Perhaps I need a white top underneath the jacket though, what do you think? I've had another bag idea as well. I bounced around with the idea of getting this expensive jacket for my birthday instead of the handbag and a cheaper handbag option another time. Only problem is there is only one in stock I feel I will need some wow pieces in my closet as I predict the bulk will be made of good quality basics. I'm going to need some statements. </p>
