My beef with straight legs is that I can never decide on a hem length and when they scrunch at the bottom they look sloppy. But I loved the fit and feel of them so much that I decided to go for it.<br /> I'll share later how I went about narrowing them, it wasn't hard at all, but because the side seams of jeans are sewn slightly forward, the back of the leg is wider than the front and you want to keep that. so it isn't just a matter of tracing the shape of your skinnies onto the ones you want to narrow because you would lose that effect. (am I making any sense?) I did a trial run with an old pair of bootcuts, learned the little tricks and then proceeded with much more confidence on my hundred dollar pair. I cut them up and made them into skinnies. I'm even more shocked that I didn't screw them up royally and I'm 98% happy with the outcome. I cant take a pic now, but I have a few "alterations" to show you when I get around to it. </p>
