I have a slim heel and can relate to stepping out of shoes! Happens to me on stairs more than anywhere. I like the heel grips idea.

A few brands make flats in narrow - check Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack as they seem to stock the most widths.

Hey ladies!

Just wanted to share a small experience. Probably you already know about this, but maybe have never tried? I sure hadn't.

I have slim bony feet, so ballet flats are hard to wear. Once I was wearing my pair of patent ballet flats to a ball, and I was all dressed up with my pretty dress and everything, I was in a rush so started running and when crossing a street, I was left barefoot on the other side! My flats were lying in the middle of the street, very embarrassing.

A part from this, they also tend to hurt my feet because I have to put a lot of effort in keeping them on place, so I arch my feet too much and it becomes painful.

Well, I had tossed them away and stocked mary janes instead, but it's not the same look, and you girls know that. So one day I read somewhere that heel grips really do work. I tried them and they do. Mine were extremely cheap since I didn't want to waste any more on those shoes, but next ones will be better quality. I can walk in my ballet flats again now! And when I say walk I mean WALK. Ok, I still can't walk a lot, but they are nice for going to work or so.

So, before giving up on the idea of ballet flats, give this a chance!
