Wow - I don't think I have a source for that lovely skirt here, though I might be wrong about that. I am definitely checking into this.

I LOVE the cohesiveness of this look. What a fantastic capsule. You are all set for a trip now, combined business and pleasure! If you worry about the orange near your face, maybe add a scarf in the purple or blue? That would allow you to continue wearing and enjoying that fun pop of colour.

The skirt is at the top of the knee for me - maybe an inch higher but I have fairly long legs and a shot body. I plan to wear it with opaque tights and boots so it can be a touch shorter. I have found some nice things at the Jones store but the first time I went in, I was disappointed. I think I wandered into the section that caters to the older women by accident and didn't notice the lovely Ann Klein dresses and suits.

What goodies! It was a really successful trip, Dianthus, no doubt. How long is this skirt on you - knee length or higher? Maybe I should check JNY store too...

I got the skirt and top at the Jones NY store here. As I was putting away the pieces, I spotted a cropped lavender sweater and tried it with the skirt/top and liked the look. The more I look at the pieces, the more other pieces I realize work into the mix. The big test will be when I wear the orange top. Still not sure about me in orange.

I will take the blame (for success)! :-)
Lovely skirt - like Suz I want to know the Canadian source (and hope it spreads East...)
Hmm, orange, purple and navy capsule - sounds delish! Cannot see orange but navy and purple look great on you.
I also demand to see the other goodies ASAP!!!!
Also I still admire your haircut - it is amazing how it changed your whole appearance. You should change your avatar because I don't recognize you anymore

Wow, I LOVE that skirt!! Where did it come from? It is gorgeous! And your capsule sounds fantastic. These colours all look spectacular on you, as well, so it's perfect.

Now you need to plan a trip and bring them all!

After seeing Sveta's sweater and skinny pant look in this thread, I went in search of the sweater that was similar that I used to own (it appears to be gone).

http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....y-long-one

Since I recently bought purple and soft tomato red Kut from the Kloth Diana jeans, it is a look I really wanted to pursue. To that end I went shopping yesterday. I went to the mall and had no success so I tried a few smaller stores. I found a skirt and top in a print with deep aubergine, fuchsia, indigo. I tried the top with my purple skinnies and it worked (I think). The next store I hit had a few styles of sweater in a fine gauge knit in a linen blend. I had wanted to get cobalt for with my red/orange skinnies and they had one that I think works. They also had it in a shade of orange that isn't too bright. I NEVER try orange anything but figured what the heck - I need to step out of the comfort zone occasionally. I was wearing the purple skinnies and I thought it worked. I also tried a long loose sweater that was a bit fitted at the waist and has a flirty bottom. I got that in black.

I was reading Suz's packing for China thread and realized that I the pieces I bought yesterday with a few I already own are a capsule with navy, purple, orange.

The skirt and top set work with a navy suit I own as well as the recent purple jacket purchase. The top of the set works with both pairs of Dianas I bought plus they can be worn as a dress. The orange sweater also picks up a bit of orange in the skirt so they should work together for a different look. It also works with the purple skinnies but should work with the red/orange pair as well for a tonal look (I would need to tone it down with greys or browns). The black sweater works with all of the bottoms including the charcoal knit pants I bought a few weeks ago.

ETA: I took a few pics and added a fuchsia sweater to the mix. The purple jeans are in the wash now but could be subbed in outfit 3 and 5. I also have the matching navy skirt that goes with jacket 1/2, charcoal slim ponte pants, and an ink blue tahari top.
