While some of the things are just not for me or my style, that too is itself a great education as it gives me confidence in identifying what I do want for myself. &nbsp;Totally invaluable! &nbsp;</p> <p>I also realized that I am a rule breaker! &nbsp; I have always been a person who thinks for herself and stands firm when I know I have a point.This really shows in my insisting on wearing skirts at my knee or even slightly shorter as I saw in my proportion discovery that they worked best for my petite height, particularly when wearing flats. The photos told the story!&nbsp;.. Makes me want to share a story of me in kindergarten... Part of testing for motor skills required kicking a box down the hallway... Every other child just did it with no problem.. I, &nbsp;on the other hand thought kicking a box was a dumb thing and dug in my heels refusing to do it. &nbsp;This went on for three days, boy was I being stubborn!. My mother ended up bribing me with paper dolls, something I loved more than anything. &nbsp;Punching out the outfits, purses, shoes even jewelry and dressing those cardboard cutouts took up hours of my childhood! &nbsp;</p> <p>I feel like there is just so much I could say about how much confidence I now have and how much I feel like I've spent this past year getting an education and am still learning things daily from this site. &nbsp;Everyone sharing their fashion journey's has value and teaches something and I look forward to continuing this journey here at YLF. Thank you so much Angie and Greg for creating such a supportive community and also to everyone who post their pictures and shares on this site. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
